Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie speaking at the ongoing conference and photojournalism exhibit in Paris.

 Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie,famous Nigeria writer,is one of the guest speakers at the ongoing conference and photojournalism exhibit on women’s empowerment as the future of African at the Museum of the Quai Branly in Paris.

 Le Monde Afrique in partnership with World BankOn are the host of the event which purpose is to strive to raise public awareness on gender inequality and to draw attention to successful initiatives that have been proven to work to close gender gaps.
 Some of the highlights of the event are photojournalism exhibition by award winning photographer,Stephan Gladieu,short films,debate,interview and musical performance,all these are pointing towards the main focus of the event,which is the role of women in the development of Africa.
Other guest speakers includes Erik Orsenna,Makhtar Diop,Magatte Wade,Leymah Gbowee and others.
