As a child,my dad always wanted us to eat unripe plantain porridge especially.Sometimes he will threaten us with the whipping cane to make sure we eat the porridge.Hahhahahhah
When i grew older, now in-charge of cooking,my dad will sometimes alter my menu by asking me to prepare unripe platain. My brother still did not like to eat it.However, with time i tried out lots of ways to make the unripe plantain porridge more delicious and nutritious.I starting adding fresh tomatoes, tomato paste, enough onion, scent leaves, small spinach, fish, prawn, ginger, garlic, curry, thyme or rosemary etc.Soon everyone in my household began to enjoy the porridge.
Hahhahahahha,i throw some guys off balance last week when one of them heard my conversation about a certain porridge. He didn’t even know what kind of porridge but he outrightly declared he was so interested in eating the porridge.
Waoh, this guy come to my where am staying, hmmmmmmmmmmmm.Anyway i did prepare the same porridge i hated.
The guys who ate the porridge were amazed.Like really ,this is unripe plantain.
Hahahhahah.ok enough of stories.Lets talk about the the benefits of this food.
