Members of the advocacy group ,Bring Back Our Girls who march to Aso Villa yesterday in commemoration of 2 years of abduction of Chibok girls were prevented from entering Aso Villa .
The group who intended to see the Vice President of Nigeria,Yemi Osinbajo to get briefing on the measure taken by the government of the country towards the release of the abducted girls were disappointed. They were stopped by a barricade of the Nigerian police.
The group leader ,Dr. Obiageli Ezekwesili who spoke on this development said:
"We do not seek to enter the Villa. We simply want to exercise the right of citizenship to get to the gate of the Villa. We are a civil group and citizens will not allow anyone take us back to where we are coming from.
We will be addressing the Press at the spot where we were stopped, however we must say this is unacceptable"
