Sale of petroleum products in jerrycans banned in Kaduna State.

 A statement released yesterday ,April 5 through the Kaduna State Special Assistant to the Governor on Media and Publicity,Samuel Aruwan reveals that the sale of the petroleum products in jerrycan and its likes has been banned in the state.

The Kaduna State Security Council who are also in support of the ban linked it to both legal and security consideration associated with environment hazards.

 On the issue of the scarcity of the product,the Council assured the people that the government of the state is working towards positive results to reduce the scarcity of the products in the state.He also pointed out that storing petroleum products in difficulty things like this has in the past resulted to casualties.

The Council also warned the residents to adhere to the ban as defaulters will be punished accordingly.
