Husband of rescued Chibok girl,surrendered on the bases of hunger and ill health.


    It has been reported that Mohammed Hayatu,the husband of the Chibok girl recued yesterday surrendered himself,wife and baby to the Borno State Civilian Task Force on the bases of hunger and lack of medical care.

    Channels  TV who reported on the issue noted that Hayatu who is said to be one of the Boko Haram commanders also known as “Amir”, reportedly escaped with his wife, Amina and their baby from Sambisa forest and surrendered to some members of the Civilian Joint Task Force in Balle, a village in Damboa.

   Hayatu said he decide to surrender as a result of hunger and ill health,said that they were virtually starving following the blocking of Boko Haram food supply by the military
Ali Gwoza and Apagu Chibok are part of the vigilante members who identified Amina, when Hayatu surrendered
