Lagos State task force public affairs officer confirmed that the two police officers , Inspector Abiona Hezekiah & Sergeant Ogunbiyi Agbabu who were attached to the Lagos State Environmental Sanitation and Special Offences Unit while on duty recovered a sum of N5 Million that fell of a bullion van around Alause,Ikeja.They honestly kept the money and subsequently returned it the owners,Skye Bank Plc after due investigation.
The Commissioner of Police, Mr Fatai Owoseni,who represented the governor commended the officers for their honesty.The officers inturn applicated the offer and affirmed their loyalty to remain steadfast in discharging their duties.
