Last Friday,Senator Jim Nwobodo, formal governor of old Anambra, renewed his marital vow with his second wife Patricia at a Catholic church. They got married at the Anglican church in the early 80’s.His joining the Catholic church was influenced by the quarrel he had with the Anglican communion when he lost his first son Ifeanyi last year.
The Senator who has been having issues with Ifeanyi’s mother stood his ground that late Ifeanyi will not be buried in his compound in his country home,Anambra. Sources has it that,Nwobodo was such a devoted Anglican to the extent that he single-handedly built the multi-million naira St. Mathew’s Anglican Church in his hometown, Amechi, Awkunanaw in the 70s.
