Nassarawa State Lawmakers fight over appointment of LGA administrators

Members of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly turned their chambers into  fighting ring following the appointment of local government administrator by governor Tanko Al-Makura.
The 2- year tenure of the local government chairmen had elapsed and the governor decided to appoint new officers pending when the elections will be conducted.This however did not go down well with a faction of the assembly, who had resolved to immediately conduct the local government elections.

Six members who did not agree with the decision of the governor accused their other colleagues of receiving financial inducement.The allegations prompted a move for suspicion of the six members by the majority leader which eventually lead to confrontations.
